  2.                              Remote Access Users
  3.  
  4. Remote users who access the network via a communications package may load
  5. and use Notework as usual.  However, there may be problems using the
  6. Notework Hot-key to pop up the Notework menu.  This may be resolved by
  7. setting a different Hot-key. See the help topic "Changing the Hot-Key".
  8. Another option is to use the NWHOTKEY command line utility.  This pops up
  9. the Notework main menu.  It may be used at a DOS prompt or incorporated
  10. into a batch file or menu system.

  12. Remote users may also wish to disable the Notework banner from loading.  
  13. This is done by setting a special parameter called QL. For details, see
  14. the help topic "Disabling the Loading Banner (Logo)". There may be speed
  15. gains from disabling animation, as described in the topic "Disabling
  16. Animation".

  18. Users pay a price in both speed and disk space if they don't practice good
  19. mail housekeeping. Users should review open mail and notes in the Resume
  20. Box on a weekly basis if they tend to let mail accumulate.
